A person closely associated with a politically exposed person is an individual who is known to have a business or other close relationship with the politically exposed person, or is a shareholder or member in the same business entity as the politically exposed person, as well as a natural person who is the sole owner of such a legal entity which is known to be effectively formed for the benefit of the politically exposed person.
